Dr. Maranda Stokes is a board-certified adult psychiatrist who specializes in treatment of mood and anxiety disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, and other mental health disorders.
She completed psychiatry residency training at University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria and medical school at University of the Caribbean School of Medicine in Sint Maarten.
Following training, Dr. Stokes joined University of Illinois as Clinical Assistant Professor of Psychiatry teaching residents and providing inpatient care. Later she served at Alvin C. York VA Medical Center in Murfreesboro, where she provided inpatient and outpatient psychiatric care to Veterans and trained Meharry Medical College residents.
Outside of her practice, Dr. Stokes enjoys live music and spending time with her family.
